- Although, over the past 10 years, the logistics platform has been in constant evolution, proposing at each stage logistics tools to increase storage space, boost productivity and improve service quality, there was need for further improvement.

- The new equipment had to be installed within a tight time frame between two peaks of activity.
On-site application
- Orders for high turnover products are picked on the mezzanine floor from carton live storage racking with integrated conveyor technology. These storage positions are used for the 3,000 best-selling catalogue references.
- Products with a medium turnover rate are picked from the shelving units.
Customer benefits
- Easy-to-adjust dividers ensure that the compartments in the shelving units always adapt to the dimensions of the storage units. Shelving dimensions were adapted to the space available under the pallet racks which made it possible to densify the stock and free up aisles for the trolleys.
- The mezzanine floor provides another 2,500 m² of storage space.
- The carton live storage racks are easy to adjust to the different sizes of the boxes which move gravity-driven to the picking face, making product retrieval convenient and ergonomic. Integrated conveyors further increase operator performance.
- The locker shelves fit perfectly under the racks. Their U-shaped configuration saves additional space.
