The BITO product range includes a large selection of shelving and racking, either as a boltless or a bolted system. They are easy to assemble and can be extended as required. Customers can choose between shelving with standard shelf dimensions or extra large shelves, wide span shelving, heavy-duty racking, pallet and cantilever racking, mobile shelving and racking, multi-tier installations, carton and pallet live storage racking and automated storage systems. BITO Shelving and racking systems are made for demanding environments. They meet all the quality criteria of an outstanding industrial storage system and are built with manufacturer experience and a perfect manufacturing process. They come with a durable surface finish and can be extended as required. In addition, BITO can boast an excellent, certified quality management system and a professional shelving and racking inspection service.

To protect shelving and racking against corrosion and mechanical damage, they are zinc-plated (electrogalvanising), hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated in RAL colours. Hot-dip galvanising is carried out compliant with DIN EN 10142 for impact and corrosion protection and high mechanical strength. 
Hot-dip galvanised surfaces are particularly robust and offer a high level of impact protection. The galvanised finish offers impact and corrosion protection and is particularly attractive. With environmentally friendly powder coating using RAL colours, a wide range of colours can be applied. Powder coated surfaces are smooth and even, with no drips or brush strokes, and also provide impact and corrosion protection.

BITO Shelving and racking is available as a push-fit or a bolted system. Push-fit assembly generally requires no screws, bolts or welding. Boltless shelving can be assembled and dismantled quickly. They are modular in design. They can be adapted and extended as required. If your storage requirements change or you need to relocate, you can easily disassemble boltless shelving on your own and reassemble it at a different location without taking much time or effort. Bolted shelving and racking systems are particularly sturdy and secure. They are easy to maintain and can be extended and adapted to your requirements. Maintenance is just easy. They are slightly cheaper to manufacture than boltless shelving.

BITO offers heavy-duty racking for particularly high loads. BITO Heavy-duty racking has a very high load capacity. For example, BITO pallet racking can accommodate up to three Euro pallets next to each other per bay. The maximum pallet load can be up to 1,000 kg with a load per beam level of 3,000 kg. In this case, the bay width is 2,700 mm.

All BITO shelving and racking systems are modular in design and can be easily assembled and extended. They are available either as slot-in or bolt-on system. You will also find a wide range of accessories for all shelving and racking options.<o:p></o:p>

BITO offers shelving and racking systems that operate according to First In - First Out (FIFO) or Last In - First Out (LIFO) or both principles. Live storage racks typically operate in FIFO mode. However, it is also possible to operate them as LIFO racking. In LIFO operations, goods are loaded and removed from the same side of the rack. New pallets are loaded into LIFO racking with a forklift truck by pushing the first pallet at the picking side against the incline into the lane.
