Our customer
UniPharma was created in 1980 through the merger of the wholesalers Mulder Brothers and Wehapharm. In the following forty years, the wholesale drugstore grew considerably under the entrepreneurial qualities of director Jacco van Liere. The range of drugstore products and medicines for self-treatment was expanded to include health foods and dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals and supermarket products. In addition to developing their own drugstore formula - Drogist Bewust Beter - UniPharma has also entered into a partnership with the Gezond & Wel stores.

The BITO Solution
» Pallet racking with integrated flow shelves at floor level height
» The storage levels on top accommodate pallets with bulk goods.
» Flow levels at operator reach height have been installed on both sides of the picking aisles.
» Thanks to the ergonomic layout, order pickers do not have to stretch to reach the uppermost picking positions./p>

- Plenty of space on the flow shelves
- 3,450 pallet positions for bulk goods in the pallet racking levels on top
- Separate aisles for product retrieval and replenishment keep truck traffic away from order pickers.
- Shorter order pickers no longer need a step to reach the upper picking levels.
- Secure storage of pharmaceuticals in wire-mesh cages with a lockable door.
