Mezzanines make optimum use of storage space and provide additional storage and work areas. There are multi-tier and single-tier mezzanines. Both options effectively double or multiply the floor area without extending the building’s footprint.
Goods can be stored on storage platforms according to their rate of throughput (fast-moving items on lower levels and slow-moving items on upper levels). Moreover, picking can take place simultaneously on several levels and there is direct access to every item.
