Customised packaging made to your specifications

Divider systems are used to customise the size of the compartments within a bin or a container. They include lengthwise and crosswise dividers, modular-sized slot-in systems and insertable boxes. Structural packaging is a customised solution that is specifically tailored to the requirements of a particular product. We also implement particularly demanding specifications for product packaging in close consultation with our customers.

Benefits of easy-to-fit flexi-dividers and rigid dividers

Flexi-dividers can be cut to size and therefore offer a high degree of flexibility for different box and compartment sizes. They are easy to position and can be removed in an instant. Flexi-dividers are a very cost-efficient solution. They are available in standard lengths of 524/724 mm for BN, XL and KLT containers and in lengths of 950/1150 mm for SL containers. Lengthwise and crosswise rigid dividers are also relatively inexpensive. They can be used in storage and handling bins with and without pick opening. The transparent version provides an immediate view of the type and quantity of items stored, making it easier to organise and prepare order picking.

Benefits of insertable bins

Insertable bins subdivide larger containers into compartments. They can be further subdivided with front-to-back and left-to-right dividers. Insertable bins can be stacked, labelled and tracked using barcodes or RFID labels. They enable you to make the most of the space in XL Euro stacking containers and KLT small load carriers. Partitions of 1/2, 1/4, 1/6 or 1/8 can be created to make optimum use of the space available in totes.

Benefits of structural packaging

Customised structural packaging solutions for sensitive and high-quality products, such as electronic components, can be achieved by using EPS or EPP foam inserts or inlays. Customised packaging solutions help to improve packaging density or to prepare goods for automated retrieval. Foam inlays are suitable for smaller item quantities (1 to approx. 2,000 items). Inlays made from thermoforming sheets or EPS (expanded polystyrene) are financially worthwhile if the number of items exceeds the limit of 2,000 pieces. This also applies to inlays made of EPP (expanded polypropylene). Depending on the production quantity, these two options are a more cost-effective solution than other types of foam.
